Return policy
The customer is aware that all products sold by SIA Carparts4you are used parts originating from vehicles involved in road accidents, ready to be used in other vehicles.
Under the terms of current legislation, the Buyer has a period of 14 (fourteen) days from receipt of the ordered product(s)
The right of withdrawal must always be exercised by the Buyer in writing, by email or by post. The Buyer may use the withdrawal form contained in Appendix I to these General Terms and Conditions, or by any other statement that is unambiguous as to withdrawal.
In the event of exercising the right of free cancellation within the aforementioned period, only the price of the purchased Product(s) and the respective delivery costs shall be paid. Return shipping costs shall be borne by the Buyer.
The product(s) must be returned in its original condition and complete packaging, with all accessories , instruction manual, etc., in the same way as it was sent, within 14 (fourteen) days from the message of number 2 mentioned above, to the headquarters of SIA Carparts4you in Latvia.
Buyer is responsible for providing proof of timely return of Product(s).
If you withdraw from the contract on these terms, you are entitled to a refund of all payments made, including the cost of delivery (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest normal delivery method offered by us), within 14 days of the date on which you notified your decision to withdraw. However, SIA Carparts4you shall be entitled, except in cases where it voluntarily takes the Product(s), to withhold the refund until receipt of the returned Product(s).
The right of return should apply exclusively to products that can be returned in the same conditions in which they were received by the consumer, and we will therefore, upon receipt of the Product(s), examine them to verify that they are in the same conditions in which the consumer received them. No refunds will be given if the Product(s) have been used or have been damaged, so the consumer should take care when handling the Product(s) in question.
We will process the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless there is an explicit request from you to do otherwise. In any event, you will not pay any taxes on said refund in 14 working days after recieve back part.
Under applicable legal conditions, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of a product from which the warranty and the integrity seal have been removed or which has been tampered with.
The exercise of the right of withdrawal shall not preclude the right of the consumer to examine with due care the characteristics and performance of the product.
The consumer may be liable for the depreciation of the goods if the manipulation undertaken in order to check the condition, characteristics and performance of the goods exceeds the manipulation normally permitted in any commercial establishment.
The Buyer may also be held liable for any diminution in value of the Products as a result of their delivery to Carparts4you.
Non-compliant/defective product
It is necessary to return any non-conforming/damaged product to SIA Carparts4you.
SIA Carparts4you will send, in case one is in stock, a product with equivalent characteristics and price. If this is not possible, the order amount will be refunded to the buyer.
Incorrectly labelled product
If SIA Carparts4you is responsible for the error, the procedure is the same as for a Non-Conforming Product, i.e. the product must be returned to SIA Carparts4you and if a product with equivalent features and price is in stock, it will be sent to the Buyer.
In the case of products that have the same reference and yet are not compatible, SIA Carparts4you is not responsible for this incompatibility and therefore the Buyer should always check that the product he/she is buying is suitable for his/her vehicle.
